Deltasand® is the light weight sand weights 2 lbs per package and Moonsand® is the heavy weight sand weights 5 lbs per package. We sell both light weight and heavy weight sand. Two pounds of light weight sand will fill up as much space in a sand tray as five pounds of heavy weight sand. Heavy weight sand will feel firmer when played with, but otherwise, they will both provide the same play experience.
